What do you think of the new forum?

So you've had a full day to use the new forum and it's features and I now want to know: What do you think?

The changes are dramatic and I've noticed mixed reactions, truth being the only choice of skin we have was this which me and Asp worked on to change from light blue to this darker themed skin. People don't often don't like change but I urge you to give this skin a chance for a few days to decide how you feel.

The new look is currently all we have but that doesn't mean things can't change. I want to provide the best experience for you guys and I'll take all comments, but having tested and worked on this over the last week, I honestly think it's great once you get used to it. So, with that said .. let me know what you think and if you have any problems, please post them in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=35639

A quick note about signatures, I might have to get tougher on restrictions as many of you are using larger signatures that not only increase loading times but make the threads harder to read. The whole signature (images and text) should not take up more space then a 450x120 image so please make changes if you're exceeds this. So be nice and get voting, I won't lose sleep over negative comments .. though I may shed a little tear.

i love it, the skin is easy on eyes now, and the little features are aweseme

like telling you if someone has posted while you were writing your post (genious)
attatchments = sick
new PM system is alot better

only thing i dislike is the threads are really close together and it sorta nnoyign trying to read who posted it and stuff but other than that i love it :smoking:

^ A problem here is that the last skin was really clean and cut, so this will appear messy, and I thought the same when I started using the new phpbb.com (which uses a similar skin), but once you get used to it .. I think you'll have no problems with it. Of course, I may make changes and I will make skins available .. but I'd like to know the majority are happy.

i get used to it...slowly ...lol

all the new features are an improvement, the new PM system is cool, the new stuff in the profile is alright... the new lay out is nice

the only really negative thing is the big contrast between the dark background and the much lighter white part where the text is
