These are the games I'm definitely getting this year:

Bioshock 2 - The first one is amazing, love the the theme and game play of the game, plus the creepy environment you're in. The twist in the plot makes the game even better. This sequel doesn't convince me very much if it'll be good or not judging by the story but hopefully it'll be bigger, better and more badass than the first one.

Mass Effect 2 - I cannot wait for this, seriously. I cannot. The first game is by far one of the best games out there, it's almost like a movie. The ending was epic, the vast universe was awesome as you explored the galaxy, graphics were ace. Damn son I really can't wait for this game, it's not going to disappoint, I know it. This is going to be amazing.

Crackdown 2 - The first game was a really fun open-world game where you could jump super high up and you'd explode everything. What it definitely lacked was a story, something this game better come up with. From what I've seen, it's looking really good.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - Seen the videos, fucking awesome. I loved the prequel, game play was the best part for me but what the game lacked was a better storyline and a more customisable game where you have more options in choice to do things in multiplayer especially. Well judging from the videos the online looks even better, I'm really looking forward to this game.

I might be getting a PS3 soon (in the next couple of months, that is) so I'm pretty excited. I no longer have to save up for anything skateboarding related because of the things I have recently bought for that area so now I'm free for videogaming saving. Games I'm gunna get:

Skate 2 (Not an upcoming game but whatever)
Final Fantasy XIII
Dantes Inferno (perhaps)
Army Of Two: 40 Day

Heavy Rain: Something different than the shooter overload we get. Will be intresting if the cinematic storytelling with the multiple choice gameplay can realsie its potential because this game could be Revolutionary.

3 - metal gear solid - rising- massive fan of metal gear solid and MGS4 guns of patriots was the best game i have ever played in my computer game loving life, i was so into the story i never wanted it to end, i nearly cried when i completed it lmao, awesome game, and cannot wait -R.I.P solid snake, legend, i no he isnt dead, but we've seen the last so he is as good as

How can it be that no one mentioned God Of War 3? The game is going to be huge. I have the ultimate edition pre-ordered and payed for, just have to pick it up on the release day .

Batman Arkham Asylum 2 should be great too. I hope they're not rushing it out though.

Skate 3 is another one I'll buy. The 1st 2 were great (the manual and hand plant controls could have been better though). It's coming out in May (Amazon says May 18th).

I might even pick up Dante's Inferno, but the demo seemed to be too God-of-War-minus-Kratos-ish to me. Plus, I watched the cartoon version (which was kinda cool actually) and know the story of it. Hmm maybe I'll buy it used just to kill the unbaptized babies in purgatory.
