Anyone have bioshock 2?

Worth getting or what? I'm still playing through the first one my first time. I think I missed some tapes so I don't know the story completely.... But is 2 a creditable sequel or what?

The first game is Loved everything about it and couldn't wait for the sequel but when I saw the previews and got to know the new story I wasn't very convinced by it. Anyway, reviews have shown that's a very good game, got a friend who says it's great and I'll be getting it but later on. It's worth getting by what I've been told and read.

I just beat the first one today. The scene with Andrew Ryan was fucking crazy, I probably will pick up bioshock 2 then. Thanks for replying I was scared this thread would go unnoticed

With Bioshock being my all time favorite game, I was waiting on pins and needles for this.

It didn't disappoint. It's a worthy sequel to Bio1 and was entertaining and enrolling all the way through. Highly recommended. Probably the best game this year or last year.

I bought it day one and thought it was the most disappointing game I've played in my life. The multiplayer is fantastic, the single player is a lackluster sequel to Bioshock.

It's pretty much a carbon copy of Bioshock 1, with the exception that everything (except for the music maybe) is a massive downgrade. The characters suck, the story sucks, and the few new things they added don't help the game in any way.

Bio1 is one of my favorite games ever, but the second is just a big disappointment. After the first hour, which is arguably the best, the game crumbles like a cookie.
