Right, so it's Nintendo's fault that 360 ripped off one of their ideas?

Seeing as how they're designing it... yes...

Nintendo designed the 360 graphics card and worked with Microsoft on most of the programming, a lot of which was directly related to X-Box Live. There was an article about it on Yahoo! or maybe a Nintendo magazine? I 4get which, but yeah. That's why they "copied" or "ripped off" Nintendo. But even if they weren't working with Microsoft it wouldn't matter. Nintendo started something new so everyone is going to incorporate it. That's what happened to Apple and that's what will happen for the rest of eternity. It's how things are perfected.

Even though Microsoft did copy, come on dude, PS3 and Wii and Xbox 360 have copied each other in many things. I don't know who started it but where did the PS3 even get the trophies from? Not even all games have trophies...
