it mite b radical but the remote did bring a lot of problems so next time they sell sumin similar make it betta, it was already fine though but i heard the strings kept on breaking so the Wii had to use a lot of money to give better strings or wateva 2 da families
the wrist bands broke fomr people misuising the wiimote, it really never needs to me moved with such a force were its possible to break the wrist band.
and even at that nintendo gave out strong wristbands for FREE to the people who had problems, me personely still have the old wristbands that kept breaking for everyone and i had my wii for a year now
yeah i completely agree with Bar that whole wrist ban scenerio was just bullshit
. People over exagerate with the thing and swing the remote to hard like idiots then let go. The only game that it is natural for u to swing hard at times is Wii sports. But when u swing its just mere common sense to hold tightly to the remote... its a pity some people were to stupid to realise that. I shake my hand a lot when i play Wii but i barely wear the wrist strap and when i do i have never dropped it before. People that had complaints about the wrist straps are a bunch of idiots. But then again theres a first time for everything 
if my Wiimote was to every by a coincident drop i wudnt want the strap breakin on me, so its a good thing they made better ones. But it shud not be such a big deal.
