PS3 vs. Xbox360 - updated

yea i was checkin out infamous the other day and im most likely gonna end up getting it when it comes out

the main thing i like more about the xbox over the ps is the xbox is in the competitive gaming scene. Xbox games just seem more competitive and that makes me enjoy the game much more than just playing a game for fun. I will admit though, on a purely recreational standpoint, it would be close but i think i would side with ps3, it just has more games that interest me.

Well yeah to me the 360 has always seemed like for the more "hardcore" gamers and that was one of the reasons I got it. People always say Halo 3 is shit and actually when I first got it I wasn't impressed at all, I gave it a few chances and I realized how genious it was. It has everything for online gaming.

One thing about the PS3 is that I think it still yet has to reach to its full potential but what's been disappointing people is how many years is it going to take for that.

Very nice comparison.
It's a good way to look at the consoles without using the fanboy perspective (which is what I usually see when talking about this subject).

I have a 360, mainly because of the initial price both consoles were set at. Plus, as people said, I enjoy the highly competitive scene associated with Xbox games

Anyways; I would go with the PS3, just 'cause it reads blu-ray discs and it's way more powerful then the Xbox360 system...Though I do admit that teh Xbox360 has better games.
