all sonic games after the sega mega drive 16bit era were trash, sonic doesn't work in 3D

I don't think the Sonic "story" has been developed enough for it to be a true free roam :(

I agree with James, Sonic on Dreamcast was the shit.

Sonic Adventure was innovative and it was fuckin great.

Sonic Adventure 2 wasn't too bad either.

But then i think they just must have got lazy, after selling decent amounts for the first two.

Every 3D Sonic game since has followed the same pattern ever since. Perhaps the reason Adventure and Adventure 2 sold so well compared to currently is because it was new and we weren't bored of the formula yet.

Yeah, I guess you're right about that, thought, but still, don't U think a 3D Sonic game, with the same speed and formulae as The old games would be amazing?

It would be, but it seems Sonic Team can never get it right.

They were onto something with Unleashed until they tacked on a werehog mode so that you spend 60% of the game in a generic "crush baddies to open the next gate" mode of play.
