U guys just have no idea that the new games are coming out with AI movement not shitty animations. And that takes up a lot of power, wii wont handle shit like that.

lol i been a member of a gaming forum for along time n i know the games that are coming out, i also know EA Ubisoft ect. signed contracts with the Wii becuase they like the fact it can hold the power of the games + add the unique controls

i aint hating on one console, i know the facts and i know the pro's and con's Wii is the better gaming machine ( note i say gaming machine ) and it has sold more, people who know gaming know that

OK, this one's going to be controversial, but I have to say it. I like Nintendo a lot. I think Nintendo has innovated far more than any other company in the industry. And I think the Wii is really, really fun. But... let me relate to you a story that may sound familiar:


Your friend Reggie invites you over for a Wii Party. It's awesome. You and your friends partake in whatever beverages are legally appropriate for your age group. The next day everyone who went to the party rushes out and buys a Wii.


A week later Reggie hosts another Wii Party. This time only half the group comes. It's still fun, but there isn't quite as much shoving to get at the Wiimote.


The next week Reggie hosts another Wii Party. You tell him you have bird flu.


Obviously I'm exaggerating, but the Wii does have many characteristics of popular mainstream fads. It's instantaneously accessible, it's unlike anything you've tried before, and it's great fun to share with friends. In short, it's everything Nintendo said it would be and it has captured the world's imagination. The only downside is that the world is easily distracted. Tickle Me Elmo captured the world's attention at one point, as did Furbies. They were both instantly accessible, were unlike anything people had seen before, and were fun to share with friends. But a year later, after everyone had seen them and tried them out, their popularity waned.


The Wii is currently riding on a massive wave of mainstream attention and has been purchased by lots of people who don't normally play games. But how many of those people who are hooked on Wii Sports will also buy Wii Need For Speed? Mainstream fads usually run their course within a year. As the honeymoon period fades, the Wii will be going up against more and more graphically impressive games on the PS3 and Xbox 360. More people will be buying HD televisions and looking for the most immersive and stunning experiences available. For these reasons, I think the Wii will be more successful than the GameCube or N64 but in the long run will still be outsold by the PS3.

i get what your saying i do understand, i had a Wii since release day, and admit good games are slow at coming, mainly because off the control system you need to perfect it if its awkward the game fails.

good games will come, and yes Wii has really fun games, it also has games you can sit down and play Zelda, Red steel for examples both great games, and beileive me Zelda looks just as good as any Xbox360 game released right now, zelda doesnt use cut scenes but its in game graphix are just as good as any other next gen in game graphix, but again graphix dont mean shit.

ive witnessed this shit happen first hand with my little cousin, he had a PS2 and xbox and played them 24/7 he came to my house and sat engrossed in snes games... for the simple fact they were more fun to play, thats a silly example but it happens with most consoles.

last generation gamecube missed out coz it sucked and PS2 and xbox got all the exclusives...but it aint happening like that this time around all games Ps2 and Xbox get Wii gets, minus a couple, thats what people aint thinking about the Wii is getting all them games and adding a better controling system to them....its a win win situation

beileive me its alot more natural playing the Wii with the control system and all the graphix in the world dont add up to your first expeirence playing the Wii mote and it gets better and better with every game

then go onto intert the internet connection is free and so far its gonni be free to connect and play your games, there the net play sorted ( simple free and awesome )

you go into extras well the Wii gets new channels added every so often for FREE , you can download the old legendery game slike sonic mario64 shit like that, you browse the net on it for free

all the shit is simple and fun

and the games will come

im guessing your talking about metal gear solid 4 and gta4 here??? well given they are the two biggest game yet to hit the next gen consoles and wii aint gettin none of the action id say yes,yes it is gonna happen again.

Saying a game is good based on the fact its fun and not graphical is cool but thats for people still playing the snes and amstrad.This is the war of 'next gen technology'....if we wanted fun games we would be talking about sega consoles or amstrad here,but it aint.

the first ever metal gear was on msx as well so how can you say its a nintendo game? especially as KONAMI make it so its in no way a nintendo game. you need to learn diffrence of who develops and makes each game to the console its on.

nintendo have enough loyal fans worldwide to never fall off, that was proved with gamecube ( witch sucked balls ) , and you cant say Wii isnt a next gen console when it brought the newest angle to home gaming, next generation isnt just about beefin up older consoles, bringing new shit to the table is revolutionary making something more powerful isnt as much....

you alreayd sayed yourself wii introduced loads of new people who didnt buy consoles before to buy consoles, it got more females involved in gaming ( as did DS ) so all these people wont exactly chuck it away, after playing the Wii you get used to the control system were it feels natural not boring, it feels naturual like pushing buttons, so all the people who bought it (again most sold console every in the world so that alot of people ) aint goni actually chuck it out they'll continue supporting it..simple as that
