Nintendo Announces "Nintendo 2DS"

gotta say it's not a bad idea really. those that don't like 3d don't have to get a 3ds to play new games. plus the ones that don't have $170 up front can get a cheaper option so they can, again, play new games. myself, i got the 3ds xl in anticipation for x and y. but my brother is still in high school without a job so this new one is convenient for him.

It looks awful compared to the 3DS XL. Don't get me wrong, the idea is brilliant. It appeals in both function and price to a younger demographic, but geez, the least they could have done was make it look like less of a giant slice of pizza.

Keep in mind that this device was made for younger children, to be co-released with the new Pokemon game.

For anyone who isn't visually sensitive to 3D effects, this is an awful buy.

that sucker is HUGE. No thanks, I'll stick to my 3DS and make it 2D when I feel like it.

it was easier for nintendo to make 2ds for kids than go to court everytime a parent says "wahh, my kid used the 3d and his eyesight is ruined!!! lawsuit!!!"
