Ive played it, and i had to set the controls back to how they had them last year, i couldnt get used to the new ones. They got rid of the trick stick so on breakaways its kind of weak because your options are to pull a pretty weak sweep deek which rarely works, or to just shoot it, i have nothing against the shooting (Obviously) but they shoudl really figure something out to deek in a realistic way, that doesnt always go in. Also, if you have a player whos 6'4 and his speed is 99, he's slower than a player whos say, 5'8 and has 85 speed. This has been a problem they havnt changed for the past few years. All in all it started to grow on me and i didnt want to return it when I had to, but its the same as NHL 06', just better graphics, slightly more realistic, the AI is slightly more difficult, and a few less gameplay options. It's a good game, that could be so much better if EA put as much time into making the NHL games as they did the Madden games.
