ive never relised whats the big thing about halo, a guy in a kool suit (can anyone say metriod rip off ??) is fighitng aliens (now thats original i mean actually shooting aliens) with a average storyline and gameplay that is highly over-rated. hlaf life and second sight are better than halo.
the mutliplayer is good, i admit, since halo 1 (the only one i actually played coz after that i figured it wasnt for me) was a blast on multiplayer, but again there are alot better multiplayer shooters out there, unreal tournament for 1 has alot more fun multiplayer
also - OMFG @ it onyl ebing 50 bucks, we are paying 50 pounds for the same game over here, and if you convert that it means we are paying 100 bucks for a 50 bucks game....fucking scandalis
i myself never cared for the series (as far as the story but playing online is awsome) even tho i own halo 1 and 2. i didnt really care tbh and was just goin to wait to get it for x-mas but seeing that alot of my friends have it i really want it now 
although i dont have 50 bucks to spend so i currently cant. But i geass i'll post about it since its such a big franchise and its so addicting to some (trust me i know, i know people personally who let this game take over their lives and they never leave the house and it turns into a drug like obsession lmao) but ya discuss...
not trying to take a shot at teh wii ut thats why they are successful and thas why halo is so successful.
