Donkey Kong or Mario

Which SNES games did you prefere and liked to play better. Donkey Kong games, or Mario games? I liked them both a lot. I remember when i was about 7 or 8 i used to go over to my friends house and play a lot of Super Nintendo there. He was a pure nintendo fan so he had a lot of Mario and Donkey Kong games and we used to play them. They were both pretty fun, but i prefere Donkey Kong by far. Its a lot more interestin, harder, and it also has a lot better music. In Super Mario world they wud play the same song thru out the WHOLE GAME it was crazy! Donkey Kong had a lot of good music, like the Jungle japes and other tracks. Since Super Nintendo there hasnt been a very good Donkey Kong Game worth playin on a home console. Im really hopin they wud bring him back on Wii in the future.

but onyl for the snes era, donkey kong country 1 2 and 3 were the games i idolized as a kid, especially the 3rd one, i used ot play them for hours and hours, as for the mario games the only one i really liked was super mario world yoshi's island....witch was better than donkey kong country 1 and 2 but not better than the 3rd one imo

as for lately though, donkey kong games have suck balls, with the stupid bongo games that were just rubbish, and then some gay racing games that are obvious mario kart wanne-be's, and from what ive read donkey kong wont be goin into proper platforming anytime soon so i aint got any hope for a killer 3d donkey kong game, the N64 one sucked balls i think i played it for 15 minutes and turned it off

so for a straight answer, back in the snes era donkey kong was awesome...but as for recent time mario is better

yeah definitely true. Especially the the N64 one that was like the worst. When i first played it i liked it a lot i was crazy about it. Then after i had explored a bit more and understood the game fully i knew it was nuthin but shit and a Banjo Kazooie wanna-be that perverted Donkey Kong. Jungle Beat was way too easy and a waste of money, and The bongo games are completely bullshit.

hmmmm i've only played the 3rd one on Gameboy Colour so i cant really make a fair judgement of the game but if it is better than one and two that it definitely is a great game. Super Mario World was an okay game, but i really hate the music it drives me nuts hearin the same song over and over again, just with different notes. But it was still pretty good.

I like DK a lot he's even my best Character on Mele and i can kick anybody's ass with him. Im hopin for him to make a good appearance on the DS soon in a classic game similar to the SNES ones. But for now i can only hope and wait.
