It might be just me (i'm a weird gamer) but I wanted oblivion to feel more like you were actually there. By that I mean, you have to eat (or maybe the camera shakes when u don't) Sleep (other wise you will get slower and less agile). I would love if you could actually get a real job (not just a quest). Maybe growing crops, and then harvesting them and then selling them. Maybe your home, you have to to pay it off slowly.

but while we're on the point of Oblivion, you should make a game where if you're crowned the ruler of something (i.e. the shivering isles expansion for Oblivion), the people around you should behave as though you're the ruler. i beat that expansion and was let down cuz nothing really changed when i became the ruler, it was just something that happened.
it could even be something small like gaining a specific title for yourself and have people actually react to it. like Fable, but more than verbally.
