Something like you surf up and down Cinnabar island then fly somewhere and talk to this old man that needs coffee. Than you fly back and you encounter missingnos and the 6th item in your inventory goes to 99.

There was this other glitch, where you could cath pokemon with levels beyond 100.

another glitch in red version was you can catch a MEW level.7 in cereleun city with only 1 badge.

I only had Crystal Version and it was great. I would cheat with the Gameshark though.
