So far ive seen no rapper retiring, even htough rap is more than 20 years old now, i seriously doubt either Jay z, Em, Dre, DMX, or rakim are gonna retire. Maybe theyll do less shows and shit but music is in their blood they wont be able to resist.

Dmx is dropping a new album on a different lable soon(but he was supposed to drop one last year, even had a single)

I have hopes for it. Lets just laybakc and see wat happens

Dude DMX is one of my favorite, if not my favorite rapper. Yeah like the people said above there is supposed to be a album coming out i believe late fall I think i heard about it last.

All I know is that I will be one happy person when I hear him and his new stuff because I'll agree with Cyndi, Rap if becoming garbage with people putting out albums left and right and putting nothing into it. Most of it is geared towards clubs now. And even if there is a good album here or there it becomes annoying when you pick the album up before everyone else, hear a song thats awesome, then 2 weeks later, oh here it is on the radio. Everyone is a fan now of the song..... they don't hear the album they just know the one song or what they here on the radio. So basically the good music on the album is dying out and its just getting replaced with radio music..... its a shame because there are songs that are great that people will never hear just because they don't play it on the radio......

aint that a fact, ive noticed most people really arent true fans, and i never listen to the radio, i just buy cds that i hope are gonna be good, u can usually tell if its decent by lookin at features, or the record producers.
