That move was brilliant! I absolutely liked the story. After seeing "Reservoir Dogs"(so bad) i promised myself not to watch a tarantino movie again. I broke wit it and made the right choice..

and again, tarentino didnt direct it, he had no part in creating it, he just produced it and presented it, which got a lot more people to go see it because of the name. And i loved resevoir dogs!

REservoir Dogs is an amazing film, with some genius performances by Harvey Keitel, Steve Buscemi, etc., etc. etc. Plaspp is right though, "Hostel" is just presented by Tarantino, he may have done a few final polishings on the screenplay, but, it was a mistake for him to associate himself to this film!
When i seen Tarantinos name attached and Eli Roth directing I had high expectations. But, was very disappointed with the final product. Aspirine is right, you can`t have a horror movie or thriller without Suspense. And there was nothing even remotely great about the storyline. The "Idea" is original, but, wasted on a weak storyline, bad script, poor cinematography and characters that in the end, you just don`t care about!!
There`s a kick ass (Quality wise) version of this available at my forum, perfect dvd rip and surround sound, the lot. Check it out!!
