-I see dead people all the time too. But then again, I just love to hang out at the morgue.

*WARNING MAY EVENTUALLY CONTAIN SPOILERS IN DISCUSSION * - I will post preliminary spoiler warnings for movies that I feel will have a good chance of being spoiled once people discuss about the movie.

Summary- Bruce Willis plays Malcom Crowe, a psychologist assigned to a young boy named Cole Sear (played by Haley Joel Osment). Cole claims that he can see and hear the ghosts of dead people. Having previously failed to treat a similar case, which ended in the pateint’s suicide, Crowe sees this as an act of redemption. However, Crowe has to understand what Cole is seeing may not be a mental illness, but really a gift all along.

Review- I’m going to try my absolute hardest not to spoil this movie, but it seriously has one of the best endings that I have ever seen, even though I personally realized it a quarter of the way into the movie. Inspired by a TV episode from the series "Are You Afraid of the Dark?”, M. Night Shyamalan (the director) basically became famous for his twist endings, this being his absolute best example. Apart from the story elements, the acting was superb. Both Bruce Willis and Haley Joel Osment did a stellar job. I mean Bruce Willis is Bruce Willis so that’s not a surprise, but it’s rare to see a child actor give such a stunning performance. Who doesn’t remember the scene when Cole is in the hospital bed and looks up at Crowe and whispers “I see dead people.”? Once again, this movie is amazing. It’s not really a horror, so those looking for a good scare, turn somewhere else. But it is a spectacular thriller/mystery movie and has some great suspenseful scenes. This should definitely be on your list of movies you have to see.

Recommendations- Recommended movies may not share similar story elements or movie techniques with the reviewed movies. They are simply personal opinions that I think will give a good indication on if you will enjoy the reviewed movie. If you want to add or want me to remove a recommendation, please reply below with the movie name and reason.

I'm still shocked at the Climax of this movie, the ending just leaves you with a puzzled look on your face long after the credits have finished rolling. That was a true twist, and purely original, it's something that I will never forget...
