The horror and comedy genres have been pretty dry for the past few years. Action, biographical, comedy drama, or super hero are probably a few of my favorites.

I'm a fan of utopia and dystopia as well, posibilitys are endless. I also like realistic disaster movies which focus more on the surviving part, although a good zombie film is great too. Post apocalyptic is great, but that goes hand in hand with the types i've just described. I enjoy film noire alot, along with other old movies by the likes of alfred hitchcock.
