Same here. I miss those days.

Although not as good as seasons 1 or 2 (1 is my all-time favorite season of anything), season 3 gets unnecassarily hated on. I remember I didn't care for it either on first watch, it gets better in the grand scheme of things. I think I didn't like season 3 when it initially aired because it was just kind of dark and depressing. Season 4 the show gets fun again. It's ridiculous, but I still love it. The only time I really didn't care for the show was back half of the final season. The episodes themselves are alright, I just didn't like the general direction of the last half of the last season.

Just finished season 3. Didn't have the same intensity as the first 2 seasons. I wasn't really on the edge of my seat and nothing really caught me off guard (except for something happening to someone).

Onto season 4!

The thing about season 4 is that it takes an unexpected turn (and therefore it lost some of the fans) - it goes from intelligent prison thriller drama to less intelligent action-packed series. But IMO, it still holds its character-development element. So if that turnover bothers you (honestly, I dont think it should, cuz ANOTHER breakout would be pretty much far-fetched), you should have stopped watchin it. But if you settle for good action, with unexpected turns and likeable characters, it's a still great show.
