Shrek did it a lot

Yeah, I feel where you're coming from.

Shrek is notorious for that shit. Bunch of Medieval high school kids coming out of the carriage laughing, while bubbles (right? yeah, I think so) come floating up out. As if they were hot boxing it. :shakehead:

Funny shit though.

On the note of the mushroom.

The Red and White ones...Amanita Muscaria...anyone have any experience with them? They're listed as poisonous by some sources, but I assure you, once dried, they're edible.

I never got down with psychs...i dont like loosing control of my thought pattern. Ive dont it though, and massively colorful experiences enhances...so this movie will do you justice

Eh, they're nothing too special.

Not like the Psilocybe species...academically-speaking, of course.

But you're right, psych's aren't really for recreation...or relaxation. Mainly for ego-death and deep introspective moments. Sometimes hellish, sometimes euphoric, ALWAYS insane.

But I'm not into drugs, nor do I know anyone who is.

Yeah, dreamworks does that shit a lot. I think that might be why shrek was so successful. It can be watched by both audiences...

That was probably because it was written by someone who was high. I have no idea if that's true or not btw, but that's what i always heard.

Malice in wonderland is also a new version out, that's definitely one to watch while you're high, it's weird as fuck..

Alice in wonderland has always been strange, i'll probably see this one, although i never like the remakes they do of disney movies lol.

Yeah but your not really going for the story, since you already know what the story is.

I guess I might just be a graphics buff, but the visuals in this movie were amazing. Plus im a depp fan

Actually, Alice in Wonderland isn't all that childish.

It's sort of a dark movie, one filled with drug references, and stranger undertones.

At least, the last remake of it I saw was. Children's movie, perhaps...but definitely not all that childish. That is, if you're perceptive to that type of thing.

I don't see it as childish anyway. It's all about perception. A child doesn't see Alice's actions as strange. From an adult perspective however, her motivations seem odd. The whole story seems almost sinister.

I'm not a huge fan though. Personally, my girlfriend loves it, so that's why I've seen a couple of versions.

Just got back from the movie. My opinion, visuals are great yeah, but the movie in all sucked hard. :n:

Never have I been so disappointed to walk out of a movie theatre. It's a sequel to the original basically, and I don't believe it stays true to the original cartoon movie made by Disney back in the fifties, or the original story by Lewis Carroll. So many things to complain about, so little time.

Long story short, if you must see it, wait three months until you can Redbox it. Not worth the ten bucks to see in theatres. :n:
