I would still say, Bane, should have been portrayed even more ferocious. He played his part, but lacked the vibe that was well shown in the comic and game version of bane.

game version isnt a close interprutation, this movie was close to the comics
hes actually a methodical genuis just out to clense gotham.

so hes not really pure evil

and i like how he was calm when he wasnt fighting, like nothing could phase him.
but he was a beast when it came to fighting or anything like that

but the 93 comic series. the ones they based these movies off of

last it last night. it was just as good as i wanted it to be. i'm probably one of the few that weren't skeptical about Bane, but that's because i've seen Warrior and other Tom Hardy movies and I know what he can do.

i don't want to give out anything because to say anything would ruin it for anyone else.
so non spoiler part:
but i will say if there is something negative to say about the movie, it's the some things were "rushed" when they shouldn't have and others "dragged on" when shouldn't have. by that i mean when you watch it you feel like everything takes place within a couple days, when in reality it spans at least a month. the touching scenes with alfred (someone mentioned them above) were kinda put in then forgotten about. which is strange because considering their relationship in the films you'd think they'd feel like more important scenes than "squeeze this here and move on."

like someone above said, the way Bane goes out is quite lame. but perhaps by that point they figured he'd already been beaten before so there was no sense in making him be beaten again?personal opinion about Bane/Batman fight: first was was good as shit when you consider what Bane is saying to Batman during the fight, second fight was ok.

sooooooooooooooooo good. The last Bane vs. Batman fight was the biggest adrenaline rush i've had in a while, i was on the edge of my fuckin' seat. DK was slightly better because of Ledger's ridiculous performance, but who gives a shit. This is movie of the year, and Bane is soo goddamn badass.

Meh...action is boring. Nothing actually happens that's important to the movie, it's just filler and an excuse to blow things up and use stuntmen.
