seen it last night in the pictures. was amazing, really excellent film.


leadger was something else, i never really look into the acting when i watch a film but because the praise he was recieving i paid attention to it alot more and dam what a performence, he makes the film.

the dark humor was also great from the joker, especially the part he was in the hospital and it was blowing up the nurses uniform


excellent film, only thing that sucked was rachel dying, didnt see it coming, also two face dying, he didnt really get to be the big baddie.


i say the next film will be the riddler, or a new guy all together

the Riddler would makes sense cuz if you watched the first one too, Chris Nolan is using more "realistic" bad guys from batman. however, the Riddler and the Joker are actually fairly similar in personality. so while it may make sense, i don't think it'd be a smart move on their part. it'd be like a different version of the same movie.

yeh thats why i thought the riddler, coz i dont think there could be a realistic reason for the penguin, ice man or ivory. maybe catwomen and the riddler ?

and yeh they are similiar, but if you work in the fact the police force are now after batman, this riddler guy could play both sides of the feilds, make it so he knows who batman really is and is sending riddles to the police force for them to find out who it is...so you aint sure if hes a good guy helpiing the police coz he beileives batman is the baddie..or just fucking around wanting batman killed, some shit like that, it would be a nice spin.


i also...for some reason, dont think rachel is dead...i dunno i just dont see the point in building a realistic love intrest for wayne and throwing it away so quickly, coz if they bring another love intrest its goni start to go holywood were they need the "love-life" storyline for appeal. and every film he'll be heart broken coz it can never happen with the girl becuase he is batman n all that bullshit.


one thing i want to ask you all is, do you think robin will come into this. i know that his personailty is a bit to colourful for the direction these films are goin, but they could re-invent him like they did with most guys, remember robin's arch enemy was 2-face in the other films and he is already dead so they could re-invent his past to make it darker and have him not as much "red and green gymnastic guy" as he originaly was.

plus the second one all ready touched upon "wayne cant do this forever" and they are treading across the lines that he is very much a human being and not a superhero, and sooner or later him doin ti all himself will become un-realistic, coz think of it, in these films you get more and worse bad guys with more danger as it goes on, so i doubt theyll start to tone it down lol

Your prolly right, to kill Rachel off that fast is ''too much'' for one movie, but think about it, they trow Two-face and Joker in one movie, so it seems like they are wrapping the story fast up. Plus he don't a Rachel, he is gonna get Catgirl or Batgirl....

Im not sure if they'll bring Robin in cuz i read a little while ago that Christian Bale might not be interested in doing the films if he was to be brought in....probably cuz of the gay vibe that goes with Robin...lmao....i dunno he coulda been joking i wasnt paying attwntion to the context when i read it...but yeah

Saw it in the cinemas with my mates yesterday and surprisingly loved it.

I didn't think it'd be any good but i was proven wrong.

It was both funny at times (because of the kind of people we are, ie those who take the piss out of everything) and deeply interesting. We found Batman's voice funny for some reason; i dunno it just seemed badly put on and fake. But maybe that was the intention. Most bits with the Joker were hilarious too, like the bit where he just casually bowls out of the hospital while it blows up.

Ledger owned as Joker, and the guy who played Two Face was great too (one of my friends shit herself when she saw his ruined face ), but i wish he'd lasted a bit longer. He was a good character.

The ending i felt was a bit weird. Didn't really give any closure although that's probably what they were going for.

So, yeah, good film.

Also, that bit with the fake Batman absolutely shit us all up.

Yeah I liked how they put the joker and two-face in the same film with such good acting jobs on both of them, obviously ledger killing the joker role.

@ Bar, Catwoman would way suck. that's be her second batman movie, plus she had her own movie. and yea i could see your riddler scenario working, but i doubt that'd think of that. and like somebody said before me, Bale said he doesn't want to do Batman movies if Robin is in it. and i'm glad too.

something i was disappointed it was Two-Face's face. i didn't like how it just happens to be burned evenly in half. the effect was cool though. and also, nobody seemed to be too worried about his face. everyone he came across was just like "oh hey harvey!"

yea i wouldn't mind if he got it. you should win oscars for ACTING and he certainly ACTED the Joker real well. he turned himself into something not only abstract and unusual, but something that was so different from himself. that's acting. Morgan Freeman gets praise for his movies, and i agree he does a good job in them. but he's the same thing in every movie. why? because he IS that smart guy he plays in his movies. Heath ISN'T the Joker. the ONLY thing you can link Heath to the Joker with is maybe, possibly, and it's pushin it.... the drug problem. that's the CLOSEST thing you can get. people seem to win Oscars for doing good in movies, or the movie turned out great and they need to award their favorite person in the film. nobody is winning for actually acting. except the guy who did win for Brokeback Mountain, he's not gay so it must've taken some skill to pull off being gay. but you get my point. Heath should get it for the sake of awarding ACTING, which prolly won't happen.

Yep Morgan is good, but he is always the same character...it's like all his movies are about the same freaking guy.

I hope he wins, he has some big names pulling for him. Roger Ebert was one of the people who brought up the idea of him winning, and a ton of other people say he has to win.
