No, I don't read comics. If it was such a huge plot point then Nolan would've put it in the fucking movie. Instead, he portrays him as a regular guy who happens to be huge and trained in fighting. Hence my fucking comment.

Batman didn't die. But I love it when Robin comes to play. However Robin shouldn't be so serious. Robin should joke around more. Catwoman is hot on the bike.

This. I like how they portrayed Robin in this movie. He seemed very believable. I hope Nolan makes a Robin movie, though I doubt he will.

The movie was good. I enjoyed it except I was fucking paranoid that a shooter was gonna come in (odds are it wasn't gonna happen) but still I was a little edgy... distracted me from the film tbh. I'll have to see it again.

The only thing I didn't like was how Bane would just take hits like a brick wall. Didn't flinch or anything. Punched in the face really really hard? Stands there like nothing happened.

Not sure if serious or just stupid.

Superhuman Endurance/Stamina/Durability: his stamina and endurance is greatly enhanced. His durability is heightened sufficiently to shrug off most blunt force trauma, yet he is not bulletproof. He can withstand blows from most superhumans, withstand falls from great heights, and possibly more.

The movie portrayed Bane as just a big hulking guy who trained with the League of Shadows. Never once said he was superhuman or anything. Hence my fucking comment.

Nolan wasn't trying to give him "super powers." he also DIDN'T give him super powers. but that's the point. it's the idea that someone can actually stand up to Batman physically. Batman has beat the shit out of everyone in the last 2 films. then finally someone comes who CAN beat Batman physically.

plus what someone said before, Batman was out of his prime. 8 year self exile while Bane is 30+ years fighting every day of his life. over 30 years of people beating on you would make you quite "immune" to the punches of someone who's been chillin the last 8 years. not immune in the literal sense. which i think is what you're seeing in the movie. you take him just standing there as "how unreal that it doesn't phase him." like i said, that's the point. he can get punched and he's not bothered by it. after the pain he's endured from his injuries, mere punches are nothing in comparison. thus, he pretty much shrugs it off.

What I got out of it in my one and only viewing (so far), is that Bane was trained in the League of Shadows, therefore he can fight. But his mask pumps a gaseous morphine so his pain subsides (from the wounds when he let that little girl escape and everyone beat him up), that's why he can take all those hits and shit.

Yeah exactly, however the morphine isn't the same as the venom he pumps through himself from the comics. The morphine of course does whatever morphine does (numb?) and the venom makes him buffed the fuck out.

Not to mention the fact he isn't being hit my Batman in his prime, but one who is older, weaker and a little rusty. And Banes IS tough, even without the morphine.

^ ahh yes venom thats the word i was looking for, and ok bane does have that originally. i was just wondering i couldn't remember if it was the same character from the old cartoons i used to watch. and im not surprised they always leave something cool out when they make live action comic movie.

Tom Hardy is great and he pulls Bane off very well.
