I haven't seen the movie but due to some off the comments in this thread I probably wont,
I do honestly believe that there is a slight.. well.. 98% chance the world will end by 2012.
It's been going to hell lately I mean come on guys.. The suns getting stronger, planet x is in fact on it's way and on top of that the ice caps are like... gone.

man this movie was whack as fuck

nothing about it said ANYTHING about the mayan calender. the effects were awesome, and very well done. but thats it... how many friggen count down's do they have to put into a movie? seriously they raced against a clock like 7 times...taking it down to the last second each and every time. give me a fuckin break..it was too long..and too dry. 1 star.

Not really a waste of money because the director got what he wanted out of it.. His money. The director has made countless movies where the main character has to save the world. It's your typical Hollywood trashy director that doesn't care about the art. He just wants to make money. He's made 2012, Independence Day, Godzilla, The Day After Tomorrow, Stargate. No creativity and I can't believe people are actually falling for this for the 5th time.
