Not really. A few things can be taken from it, but they're practically minor and will possible be revealed anyway ASAP in the episode.

I'm going to tell you what I mean below, spoilers:
















- Dex says something about "LaGuerta's memorial" which means her body was found, which indicates Dex/Deb indeed made it look like a double homicide with LaGuerta and Estrada.
- Looks like a few weeks have passed since the incident in the shipping container; as Dex said he hasn't heard from Deb for weeks.
- Deb looks fucking suicidal and/or addicted to drugs. She's seen here grabbing a (beer?) and opening it in the store and drinking it. She's distraught when she sees Dex turn the corner.
- Deb is working a "case"? Is she still a Lt? Did her involvement with his get her demoted somehow (and not fired? lol) ... She's ROYALLY pissed at Dex. Said she hates him (for what he "made" her do...)
- "I shot the wrong person in that trailer" ---> Dexter's face says it all. Holy shit.

S8 will be fucking spectacular.

In the 1st book: Laugerta dies when Rudy (ice truck killer) kills her, and he survives. I'm actually pissed it took this long to get that far, I hate the boring side stories in the show. Ugh, this show has gone nowhere but down since the death of trinity. I do watch it, but I don't know why.

Scott Buck said it's too gimmicky to bring a lot of people back. We won't see them more than likely. Season 4 is GOAT status of TV shows, but I have a feeling S8 will be better.
