I'm more of a manga fan, anime went downhill a long time ago and is filled to the brim with embarassing crap nowadays.

Though some pretty good ones worth watching are Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, Monster, Ouran (lol I love this show), and Legend of the galactic heroes.

Really manga truly is better as you have Berserk (anyone who hasn't, read this series now, it'll up your anime/manga standards by tenfold and you will thanks me later), Akira (the movie doesn't even cover 1/3 of it and isn't as epic), Nausicaa (as good as the watchmen comic, lol at the film), Vagabond, Real, Lone Wolf and Cub, and Phoenix.

Also the anime posted in the op was also originally a manga and is further ahead than the anime, though I will admit that it does a pretty good job adapting the original story and has stellar animation as opposed to the korean sweatshop looking animes like One Piece and Naruto.

Yes, Attack on Titan is fucking boss. It went trough a string of slow paced episodes, but it's back in full form.

When I was a kid, I used to watch DBZ, Saint Seiya, Cardcaptor Sakura, Pokémon, and such. Now I don't feel interested in watch anime anymore. Still love and watch DBZ, though.
