I hate it, just like I hate most of James Cameron's work.

He's really predictable. Avatar is okay at best, it entertained me. But it wasn't as good as it could have been. Not near as good. Like a 7/10 movie if I'm being generous.

Yeah, the length is one of the biggest things Titanic has going against it. It's just not very interesting, especially if you know the real story of the Titanic. The ending sucks too. I don't mean that it sucks because it's a downer. Couldn't care less about that. It just sucks because it's stupid. Long movies can be great. Magnolia is over three hours and it's one of the best films ever made. It doesn't feel long. I saw Blue is the Warmest Color last night and it's a 10/10 film that clocks in at 187 minutes and feels like maybe an hour and a half because it isn't boring. A movie like Titanic, though, is difficult to sit through.

Good point, the length really does bring it down. Horse shit ending and by the end I was kind of getting tired of the movie I remember lol. It is hard to sit through it.
