Any Stannibals?

Didn't get much from people on here about Hannibal. I remember Chett said he didn't wanna start because it looked like it would be cancelled. But season two has started and it looks like it'll be even better than the last, which was great.
Love the actors portraying the classic characters, and has a great in depth storyline

Awesome show. It has that True Detective vibe, only more bizarre. I fuckin love it.

I like the movies and I like the character. I have never read the books. I haven't seen the show yet though, but I've heard good things. So this is worth checking out?

Bumping this up sense no one has posted since the S2 finale. I'm a HUGE Hannibal fan (books, films, TV show) and anyone who hasn't seen it REALLY needs to check it out. It's up there with Breaking Bad as some of the best television I've ever seen & the S2 finale was the best episode of television I've ever witnessed.

It'll probably never take off like Walking Dead or Breaking Bad did because of the content & nature of the show unfortunately, but it really is the best show on TV right now. It still blows me away that this shit is on NBC rather than cable.

Seriously though, do yourselves a favor & check out it. Great cast, amazing character, visually beautiful, cinematography will blow you away & you'll constantly be on the edge of your seat.

I heard it was great to get over Dexter, am I right in that assumption?

It's what Dexter should've been.

The movies seem to have a pattern:

Good: Silence of the Lambs
Shit: Hannibal
Good: Red Dragon
Shit: Hannibal Rising

The TV show is really good, for the most part.

Can't forget Manhunter from 1986 with William Petersen (based on Red Dragon book).
And I actually like the film Hannibal. Rising on the other hand was dog shit & never should've been made. (Thomas Harris was basically forced to write it)
