Eragon - the movie

book was tight, i read it like 2 days. when i found out there's gonna be a movie, i was all excited.. but when i went to see it, it made me a bit upset..

the only thing i really liked was Saphira - just how i always imagined her. and that Eragon guy was kinda hot. :8)

the rest was.. idk.. it just didn't live up to my high expectations..

i went for social reasons.

it was either we were seing "the devil wears prada" or "eragon" and i certainly wouldnt choose the first.

the movie was just a summary of the book really. they left out so many details that when they make a movie for the second book it'll leave out just as many details. the kid who played Eragon did a terrible job and looked like a fag. i coulda done a betta job and im not even british. the movie didn't even end the same as the book. the movie sucks if you've read the book. if you haven't read it then you might like it.

i'd heard it's shit, but i decided to give it a try. can't say i'm pleased, maybe i expected too much.. :unsure:

there's just one thing that kinda bugs me.. if Peter Jackson's crew was able to create the Middle-Earth, with all the races, places, languages, weapons and shit, why can't other people do it? we had Harry Potter, which [to be honest] was shit, we have Eragon now.. i know it's about money too, but.. i dunno.. if i was up to make a movie based on a fantasy book, i'd beg for money to make it look real and satisfy the publicity.. :unsure:

i've heard they're going to make Artemis Fowl movie, i wonder if they fuck it up too... :sweating:

i never jumped on the band wagon with books.... or anything like that... eragon just seems like a partially animated harry potter on steroids
