1. Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix
2. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
3. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
4. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
5. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

i didn't really like Prisoner of Azkaban movie. that Sirius actor doesn't really match my view of Black i had after reading the book, same goes to Lupin. and i remember Lupin/Harry conversations they had, sounded totally random for me. and it's my least favorite part, so nothing amazing that i didn't enjoy the movie that much.

as for Philosopher's Stone, it was on the TV two days ago, so obviously i took the chance to watch it for the xxx time. i seen Order of Phoenix few weeks ago, so i wanted to compare them. lol they all looked so young.. but i enjoyed it, i think it was done pretty well. it's easy to notice that it was a very first role for some of them, but still, they managed it well :y:

btw. the most important notice would be about Dumbledore. it really sucks that Richard Harris who played in first 2 movies died. i think he was brilliant, just as Rowling described him in her books - caring, funny, warm-hearted, but smart and demanding at the same time. you know, she always wrote about that thing in his eyes, his devotement and great wisdom. the "later" Dumbledore lacks it in my opinion and it's a great loss for the movies. :(

i think the acting was just bad up until the 4th movie, but prisoner of azkaban had great cinematic effects (despite the lame werewolf ) so that made up for it. i think goblet of fire was pretty good though, the only thing i didn't like was the pace of the movie. everything went by so quick, and instead of just cutting things out, they tried to cram it all in with one scene or line about it, which just doesn't work in a movie.

i didn't like the final part in the Chamber, when Harry was fighting the Basilisk. i could say the same thing about Goblet of Fire while the first assigment of the Tournament. he and the dragon flew somewhere, destroyed half of the castle and then just returned like that. :-k a bit too exaggerated, but the dragon itself was brilliant. :y:

as far as the actors, i've gotten used to them. richard harris was a good dumbledore, but he was a little weak in my opinion. and that's not disrepsect to him cuz of his passing, but if he was still alive and doing the movies, i don't think he could've pulled off the 5th and 6th movies. michael gambon is a bit more aggressive than i think the real dumbledore would be. i wish someone would explain to him how DD's character really is, because i heard he doesn't read the books.

i've gotten used to the actors too. :y: it's fun to see how much they changed and improved acting skills. as for Richard Harris - i know what you mean, but i think it wasn't his fault. he was about 72 i think, so he had right to be weak lol but still.. Gambon lacks it. :( he's too agressive and seems to me like he's not that friendly.. you can rarely see him smile or have that warm look..

i like gary oldman (sirius), i thought he was perfect in the 5th movie. he coulda been better in the 3rd though.

the best played character though is luna. evanna lynch doesn't even have to act, she truly is luna lovegood.

i dunno :-k i think his face just doesn't suit me, i'm not about his acting skills. and i fully agree on Luna's part, she was sooo living in her own world rofl :y:

GOF
SS/PS
OOTP
COS
POA

After reading the books, I don't really like the hp movies as much as I did when I saw the first two movies. POA was a disappointment cause of the change in setting compared to the first two and change of actor playing dumbledore. I agree with twinkie, michael gambon is way more aggressive than the real dumbledore would be they should've found a better replacement :p Didn't like OOTP either, though I don't exactly know why :-k

As for the acting, I can't really tell if a person's acting is good or bad. I think I'm too into the movie to notice things like that :sweating:
