i guess its a love/hate thing.

i reckomend it, it was pretty good imo

not so much a spoiler but if you google cloverfield ending, at the very end of teh credits a guy says someething like, hes huge, hes not dead or somehting like that.. you can youtube it

also a thing falls into the water at the end when they are on the ferris wheel, apparently that was a japenese satelite that fell and i guess woke up the monster, so the monster rly did come from the ocean, but this is only a rumor..

I saw it opening night. I thought it was awesome. I want to get some detailed pics of the monster though cause it was hard to make it all out seeing as they didn't show it for too long.

and after the credits the whispers say "It's still alive". I didn't get to stay after the credits but did listen to it online and it clearly says that. I also hear that they may make a sequel but only from a different point of view. Like when they were on the bridge they film another person filming them which could be a hint at that and maybe the satellite thing was put there so they could do a sequel explaining the monsters origins, which would be just as interesting as the same story with different view points. Also, Hasbro is making a toy of the monster that is going to be extremly detailed but costs $100 I'm thinking of getting it though

The pictures of it aren't out yet Also, it's due to be released at the end of September and shipped 1st week or October so it looks like we'll wait a while, at least until late July/August or maybe before that if they release pictures when the dvd is released, which may be in June

You guys are half right with what you said about the end of the movie. After the credits song (called "Roar" I think) ends and the credits are about to end you hear a crackling noises followed by someone saying "Help us" And when played backwards it says "It's still alive." And the theory about the satellite crashing into the water during the ferris wheel scene, some people believe that it might be a satellite but theres no real way of telling yet.

^they do clearly show the monster but so far the videos of it are shit quality and it's hard to make out. The only one that kinda looks correct to me is the last one of the parasite. I think the smoke monster is from Lost.
