it's not bad if you've got time to kill, but after a while, it does get DBZ-ish.
the trick is just to watch it in small doses.
i like the manga better because you get to skip the stare-downs and pointless boring talk. but then again, you don't get the "watch" fights in the manga.

yea i see the similarities between them. but i like Naruto cuz there's more "twists". i like seeing how a plan unfolds and what not. in Dragon Ball Z the only "twists" they had were a little more obvious. the individual stories behind the characters in Naruto are a little better too.

true, naruto is better in a lot of ways in the beginning, especially since everyone has their own individual fighting style. but after the chuunin exam, things get a little stale.

one thing I absolutely hate is how everyone is emo. and how naruto thinks "hm, this person is just like me" whenever someone starts telling a long winded story about how sad their life is. or how everyone has the same eyes of anger/hate/wanting to be acknowledged.

that's true, many of the stories are based on the same thing. it is getting a little bland and kinda slow in the later episodes. but i'm hoping it'll pick up :sweating:

oh yea, if anybody wants to watch it go to veoh.com

make a search for something like, "naruto episode 1 dub" unless you want to watch it in Japanese.
