The Transporter

Image
-Hot cars, stunning fight scenes, and a beautiful woman. That's all you need.

Summary- Ex-soldier, Frank Martin has become a hired mercenary, known as “Transporter”. His job is to deliver goods, no question asked, while sticking to his set of rules. However on one of his jobs, he ends up breaking his rules and discovers he is delivering a woman. The people who hired him are now trying to kill Frank for his discovery and Frank must not only protect himself but the woman too.

Review- Wait what? A non-Asian guy who isn’t Chuck Norris can fight? That was my initial reaction when seeing this film. Jason Statham is a great fighter, but not a great actor (he’s decent though). But then again, no one is going to watch this movie for the acting. The movie has a great start with an amazing car chase, and the action continues with multiple fight sequences. The story is decent, but nothing spectacular. If you’re a big action fan or love car chases, this movie will definitely be for you.

They are simply personal opinions that I think will give a good indication on if you will enjoy the reviewed movie. This movie is definetely the best in the series. I love the fact that they used a guy, who wasn't chuck norris, jackie chan, or jet li who could kick ass. That's what mainly gets my props in this movie...It's different and sets its' own rules...defies all martail arts movies, you got to love it!
