-Beautiful cars, hot fight scenes, and a stunning girl. Hmmm...looks different but sounds familiar.
Summary- After discovering the death of his friend, whom he recommended as a transporter, Frank is forced to deliver Valentina, the kidnapped daughter of the Ukranian government official. Although he simply wants to live in peace, both he and Valentina have bombs attached to them that set off once they wander too far from their car. Frank now has to find a way to survive and bring deactivate the bombs, while keeping the hostage away from enemy hands.
Review- Transporter 3 sits nicely in between the first and second one in terms of quality. The action is good, the story has improved (over the second one), and the ridiculous CGI scenes from Transporter 2 are thankfully gone. The problem is the movie has lost it’s novelty. Jason Statham is a great fighter, but brings nothing new to Transporter 3 but some action sequences. The whole having a wrist bomb set off if one goes far from the car is a good twist to the series though. One thing that has started to annoy me is the fact that Frank used to be such a rule oriented person, but seems to easily break/bend them now, unlike in the first movie. Finally, the lead female role was annoying, she was nothing short of being the Ukrainian version of Paris Hilton, but that’s purely my opinion. Anyways, this movie like all Transporter movies has good action sequences and entertaining chase scenes. If you enjoyed the first two, you’ll enjoy this one too. But don’t watch this movie expecting anything more than a pure action flick.
