Royal Tenenbaums, now I'm not a hipster (and yes I realize every self aware hipster says that and it's as dumb as saying I'm not a racist) but I found it highly enjoyable and relatable in ways I'd rather not expound on.

I do like the directors style probably gonna go and seek out more Wes Anderson films, who I always confuse with the TWBB director. I don't think it's perfect and I think it got too angst ridden at parts, but for most of the movie it's a self aware dramedy with a colorful cast of quirky characters. Oh yeah and the soundtrack's cool

Moonrise Kingdom and Fantastic Mr. Fox are by far my favourite Wes Andersons

Yes, his character was purely in it for nostalgia sake. They completely ruined themes running through the 1st film by showing that Ellie was married & had a kid to another man...just made their relationship in JP1 seem almost worthless

It was ok, couple of laughs but overall i was expecting it to be way funnier than it was, and i'm a huge Seth Macfarlane fan...glad i didn't went to the movies to check this one out...

I watched this and Ted a few weeks back. was putting off watching them due to the negative reviews and i, like you am a massive Seth fan. Both had some pretty funny moments i thought. Weren't as bad as people were making them out to be :y:
