The dude lives a few towns away from me & that's dope as hell
I also found out last year he owns one of the radio stations up here
I got mad respect for him cause in the start of "Creepshow 2" it shows downtown Dexter Maine :smoking:
I never ever read books but whenever I do decide to read it will be his books
other than that I love the children of the corn movies

I looooved the book Pet sSemetary, the only book that's ever kept me thinking at night, but wasn't too keen on the film. Salems Lot is one of my faves too, as is The Shining for the book and the film, although completely different from each other.

Carrie as well, and yeah, gotta love The Green Mile. IT too, the book and the film. The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon...the titles gay lol but it's one of my favourites of his.

I think I have about 20 stephen king books, i go into phases, and there was a time when all i read was Stephen King, ooh it was good  Lol.

I could go on but i'll stop lol :flower:

I love his books.. The guy's a genius, his characters are so damn realistic.. I love how he exposes their deepest thoughts, their personalities - it makes the books way more interesting.

I especially loved 'The Dreamcatcher' - it was the first King's book I've ever read and it made me wanna read more and more. My fave part would be when one of the main characters was hiding inside his mind, trying to protect it from the Alien. How he locked himself up in a tiny room and was collecting boxes with memories innit, so the Alien couldn't penetrate it.. WOW.

'Bag of Bones' - scared the shit outta me. It was amazing, it was psychodelic, but damn good. The story of Sara Laughs and the Redtops, that stuffed dog, his dreams.. And somewhere between it all, that dramatic story of Kyra's mother.. A masterpiece.

'The Green Mile' - no need to say that both, the book and the move, are fuckin dope. Word. I was crying all the way through the end of the book and the movie lol

'It' - made me scared of clowns for life, no lie. Ugly mofos, I still get scared when I see them :( The only thing I didn't like was the ending, which fucked up the book. I really thought it'd end up in a different way, because ehh.. I just didn't feel it. 3/4 of it is dope though.

'The Shining'..
'Pet sSemetery'
'Carrie'
'Insomnia'
'Desperation'
'The Tommyknockers' - weird, really.. -__-'
'The Shawshank Redemption'
'Misery'

I also checked out some of his short stories, don't remember the titles though. Still.. King's the shit. :8)

My favorite Stephen King book is one that I read in the fourth grade. The Eyes of the Dragon. That book is so amazing, and just one of those pivotal memories of my childhood.

I've never read The Dark Tower series, but now I really want to! Ahh, I've been needing some new literature as of late, I've been spending too much time reading political and economic philosophy books along with biographies. I need some fiction. Thanks guys!

I don't really like Stephen King movies. They always leave out so much, and I don't find them nearly as entertaining as the books...the movies seem to lack depth, although The Shining was pretty crazy.

My SK list goes as follows:

The Stand
Hearts in Atlantis
The Tommyknockers
Duma Key
The Shining
Needful Things

Those would have to be my favorites, although I've read twice as many probably. Those are just the ones that I've read more than once, except for Hearts in Atlantis and Duma Key. As far as the Dark Tower series, I only read The Gunslinger, and it was pretty badass. I was surprised in Hearts in Atlantis though when he tied in references to The Dark Tower series.
