Terminator 1 or 2?

I recently watched them back to back and it's amazing how different they are.
They're both two of the greatest action films ever made, but in different ways.

Which is better?

After much thought, I'd have to say T2 because the story is so much more dimensional than in the first. It was a tough choice though, because I prefer Arnold as the villain Terminator.

Listen to how it begins, with harsh, heavy, electronically produced rhythms. Then at around :40, a woodwind instrument creates the melody, contrasting its soft, human quality with the rough, machine-like background.
That echoes and foreshadows the movie's theme: Man vs. machine.

I watched T1 for the first time when I was like 7 or 8 years old, and that melody scared me. I don't know why.

Idk to me 2 is best by far. Probably because I can't remember much of the first, cause I watched it a long ass time ago and I forgot it all. But 2 is one of the best films in history. I love that theme song so much, its heart pumping as fuck.
