it's not fuckin' fair...or right, I mean, some people do much more then football players, and they don't even get that much money...doctors save people's life, they don't get so musch as them players....

but to be honest, I don't care...lol

In my opinion, too much money is spent on entertainment of all sorts (artists, actors, sports, etc.). I agree with the above that doctors, firemen, etc, who help out people should deserve more money.

they are entertainers....you should be asking do entertainers deserve the money they get?

footballers train and work hard to be at there peak to attract major audience crowds etc etc....just like a singer does...just picking out footballers is wrong.

you got bob geldof telling us to give to charity and the dude lives in a giant mansion.

^^ yea but soccer players work out a lot less than players in other sports and they get payed A SHITLOAD more.. i think all atheletes are paid too much... they should earn at MAX what players earn here in the CFL (Canadien football league, not soccer) Which is between $75,000-$200,000
Even that's too much.. these guys get to have a blast.. they live their dreams... its FUN... i dont get paid 15 million dollars for smokin' blunts and drinkin myself asleep... we should'nt get paid for things we enjoy!

football in europe attracts much more viewers and media attention then football in the u.s as there is more viewers/fans that means more money is pumped into the sport via advertisement etc etc therefore the players get payed more for being successful.

and you dont get payed for smoking blunts cause it aint no skill...any dude with loose change in they pocket can smoke a blunt.However football is a skillful thing in europe...its our national sport....shit entertains millions of people and with the world cup coming its getting better.

I think they deserve every penny like any entertainer.

aiight well I play hockey.. thats my countries national sport.. well lacrosse is, but hockey attracts the most attention, and they get VERY overpaid, but not nearly as badly as soccer in europe... i dont think they deserve nearly as much as they earn... comediens are entertainers, do they get paid millions?

ok, let them earn some money if they're good at football, if the team wins, they should get some prize, but a reasonable one :sweating:

i think sport is or at least should be some kind of idea, which could unite people all over the world, kind of competition, impuls to improve your skills.. doing it only for money is just wrong for me :whistle:
