Attention People in England!

as you may or may not know, there is going to be an NFL game played in London on Sunday between the San Diego Chargers and the New Orleans Saints. i just want to know what you guys/girls think about it? is it a big thing over there, are a lot of people talking about it? is there a lot of coverage on the news and stuff like that? do you guys even care? im just curious, put your input and opinions

I see something abut this on Sky sports news... To be honest im sure theres already been a few games here already? They do get talked about but for one very negative reason. Wembley is a stadium that is used primarily to host England games and other big football (Soccer) events. Since the stadium was built a few years back there has been many complaints over the conditions of the pitch.Which obviously it doesnt help when you have events like these being played on the event of trying to make some money just to get back some of the stadium costs. But no noone really is bothered.

Why is it being played here anyway? Is this like the "39th" game idea there trying to start with football here where one game is played abroad which means we pretty much are being cheated as fans just so they make even more money off it.

yeah pretty much, they done this last year aswell, its just a way for the americans to make some more money, plus expand they're audience to get more fans and what not. regarding wemberly, they dont care about the condition of the pitch, but they're condition of there bank account, they'll allow anything as long as it makes them money to repay the building, i supprised they got no destruction dearby going on yet.

about they 39th game, its pretty much like what america are doing, they're just looking for a way to make more money, expand their audience and cash in overseas, espeially now with the hole "beckham mania over there" i cant see it happening for a wile, they gotta make 1 of every club give up a home game. plus, with the talks of salary caps and nationality caps (limited forign players playing for one club at once) i think its more just "alot of ideas" at the moment, and nothing will be happening any time soon
