If Sir Alex puts out a strong team, then we have a fair chance of progressing.like you rightly said,an inform United are well capably of beating City at their own backyard.let's just hope our form improve significantly before the game, our attack especially.

Barca embarrassed you twice in the Champions League, you can't even dream of matching them.

And we are now on a different level too. Should be an easy game tbh. 8-1?

German players to be specific, they need someone to fill Schools and Gigs's void, Madrid bought Ozil to fill Zidane's void. Surely he didn't, but he did his best and he's better than every other play maker RM had/bought after Zidan (With Snijder being the only exception, they're quite equal).

06-07 was a really horrible time for Real Madrid.

why German players?.I'll take any good CM right now, regardless of their nationality.
Schweinsteiger and Gotze are players I'll love to see in our team though.

didn't Real Madrid won the league 06-07?.

I watch Barca alot and didn't mean to put it like that.. Barca are just unbelievable.. you cannot expect to beat them playing the same way you would normally, Same with Spain.. England completely changed the way they played and got there tactics spot on.

Not really... City have to get to grips with the Champs league, Don't get too big headed United have been on a bad run lately playing against us is tough.. more than capable..

Aye I'm only messing. Confident though which is a bit strange. We are the better team, as the last derby proved beyond all doubt.

The 6-1 derby defeat was a fluke, just as our 8-2 win over Arsenal.
Its alright to be confident, but do you honestly think City will surely beat a full strength United team, even at Eastland?.I see us getting a draw and a replay, which we are capable of winning.and don't forget you guys have some really tough fixtures against the dippers too.

City

January 3rd – Liverpool (h) League Cup
January 7th/8th – United (h) FA Cup
January 11th – Liverpool (a) League
Cup.

With all due respect, it should have been 10. We are bigger, stronger, quicker, more potent.

We may not win the league, purely because of our inexperience but the next 5-10 years are going to be grim for the rags. Really grim. You might want to switch teams now before it gets ugly.

It was still a fluke result mate. You shouldn't underestimate the strength of the Utd squad either. Granted the squad may not be as strong as it once was, but it's still a solid team that is very capable of beating City.

It was a fluke result though. I highly doubt we'll see City win 6-1 at Old Trafford again anytime soon.

I can't wait for the game today! We looked much better against Newcastle so I hope that transitions into the Valencia game. I'm eager to see the starting 11.

If AVB wants Torres to regain his form, he has to play him. It's as simple as that. I think he will, but we must play him.

Darn you Fernando for getting yourself sent off against Swansea when you were looking very sharp. :argue:

A bit of nostalgia coming up!

He wasn't the goal scoring machine for Chelsea as he was for Milan, but the goals he did score were fantastic. The first goal in that video is absolute world class.

As the saying goes, form is temporary, class in permanent. C'mon Torres!

Porto, Dortmund, Arsenal, Bayer, Barca, Milan.

6 fold acca - 45/1 with Sky Bet. Get a tenner on it fellas.

Arsenal will be playing kids but I still fancy them, especially at 4-1
