Refs really wanted Spain to win against Serbia. Even the system is made so that Spain can`t go against USA until the finals. I`m really starting to hate all kinds of World cups. I really hope USA will destroy Spain in the final, even though I like Spain`s basketball team.

I didn't watch the game , because Spain was already 1st. We didn't need help at all because that game was completely unimportant to us. And I have no idea if we were helped or not.

But honestly I'm tired of all the hate Spain gets in these kind of competitions. In the football world cup people almost got an orgasm when we lost.

Spain will probably reach it .. it'll probably be the last final for some time considering that Pau, Marc and Reyes are pretty old .. I doubt that they are gonna play the next tournaments too

I'm not that sure that Spain will be in the final. I hope so though, like Notalious said it might be the last time for some great players. Pau is so humble and nice. So is Reyes. They deserve it.

Mark I think could easily play next World cup , he is not that old.

I really lile Spanish natiomal team. Rubio, Navarrro, Gasol...great players. But who the fuck cares what they deserve?Who cares if this is probably Gasol`s last World cup? They are payed very well for what they do.

In this kind of comeptition, where great teams play, in important games-you win or lose over one or two missed or made shots. One bad call by a reff can decide who wins and who doesn`t. And Spain has that reff help. It does not take much, just a few calls in the right time. And I hate that. Just because this is the last WC for Gasol or Navarro or because Spain is playing at home, the poll is fixed so that they can`t face USA before the finals. Fuck that.

Those players are very well paid for sure, but do you think they just care about money? Did you see Fábregas crying when Spain was out of the football world cup? Do you think he was crying for the money?

Spain is playing at home, but except that game against Serbia that count 0 for us and I didn't watch at all. What else can you complain about?


Part of that hatred goes because spain is stronger. Spain lost stuff also because of refs. 2007's gold could have been ours.

You are always a cry baby during these kind of competitions, don't know why you watch them. Noone will always be fully pleased by a ref work. But I see nothing over the line here. Anyway if Spain make it to the final people like you will bitch about it.

MAKING SURE THAT SPAIN DOEST NOT PLAY AGAINST USA BEFORE THE FINALS.

Sorry, but I bet you never play any sports, so you have no idea what`s it like to play against someone that MUST WIN (because of the reasons I said before). I never played anything as big huge as a World cup, but I played loads of tournaments, and you experience that kind of treatment there. And it feels awful. And that is only a amateur tournament, so I can`t even imagine how you feel when you get robbed in a WC.

Sports should just be about who is better, faster, stronger...not who is hosting the tournament and whose players should win because they are too old for another WC.

Jesus , it looks like we are saying that Spain should win because we play at home. I think noone here is saying that.

And noone here is saying Gasol should win because maybe is his last world cup. I just say PERSONALLY I would like them to win. And I think they are good enough to win.

I have friends who play football in more than amateur teams, I don't play, but I can get the feeling. And noone is defending bad refs. I just say SO FAR there is not a big reason to complain in this world cup. I don't see the refs helping Spain like they did with Brazil in the football worldcup. I didn't see that Serbia game.

And chances for a Spain- USA in the final are there, with or without help. Both are 2 of the more stronger teams.

And now I really want Spain to win, just to annoy you. Going to pay some ref...

edit, and I add, when you play something amateur, with also amateur refs, that things happens a lot, but we are talking about a world cup, with all the eyes on it. Do you think a ref can do miracles and take to the final someone who don't deserve it because Gasol is old? Not even Brazil were on their final on football, I would really like to know what kind of help are we getting, other than the infamous game against Serbia, as I didn't watch it , I won't comment. And anyway we already were first of the group.
