The ref clearly saw it as well. If he lies and says he didn't then he should never referee again.

This is a trial by the Media, who are scum. Apparently they all went mental when Bale equalised. I thought they were supposed to be relatively impartial?

If Parker did this to Balotelli no-one would care.

The main problem is everyone is watching it on YouTube in super slow-mo which makes every movement seem completely intentional. Balotelli doesn't once look over to see where Parker is (not even a glance), is off balance and his natural reaction is to try and get his left foot onto the floor to try and stay up. Parker's head was in the way.

If it was so intentional why did Modric or any other Spurs player not go mental about it? The angle and slow-mo are clearly deceitive. Watch it on FootyTube in full speed and it makes it look completely different.

Of course, Redknapp would go on about it. Anything that takes attention away from his £170m tax evasion trial today is good for him. Absolute scumbag. "but e shuf be da england manager innit!!!1"

I love Balotelli. Not sure if he did this on purpose or not. But I love him. Great player and a crazy dude.

I watched the replay again and I still think it was intentional.

I'm positive that the first incident 3 seconds into that video was completely accidental, but the stamp wasn't. He knew where Parker was given the accident a few seconds earlier, so why would he extend his leg backwards towards Parker to stay balanced? Given his position, he COULD have avoided that stamp. His foot was actually moving away from Parker in the first place.

Exactly. It doesn't matter if he saw Parker on the ground or not, by the time of the second stamp he must have known he was there.

Very predictable. I fear for Balotelli, I really do. He could be a world class striker, up there with Drogba and Eto'o at their peaks. But his card is marked in the premiership and he'll never get the benefit of the doubt.

Either he cuts out his aggression completely or he'll get ban after ban after ban. If he loses his aggression, he's half the player.

Having said that, I think he is probably on the autistic scale. He clearly feels no nerves on a football pitch, even when taking a last minute penalty. If only he could maintain his composure throughout the 90 minutes...

Now we have to rely on Aguero and Dzeko for the next 4 games. Dzeko is awful.

When he's confident and playing well, he's great.

When he plays badly, he's awful.

It's probably 1 good game in 3 at the moment..

Lmao.

I hated it when City stole Robinho off Chelsea. I remember watching Sky Sports News close to midnight and then they announced it. I still remember the City fans chanting "We've got Robinho!". Not like he turned out to be a great signing but I was really looking forward to see him play for Chelsea lmao.

That was one of the craziest days in my life. I woke up and saw we'd been taken over. I rung my dad and said 'I think we might be incredibly, stupidly rich' ..... spent the whole day watching SSN, culminating in Robinho. I jizzed all over the TV screen.

Arguably our most important signing ever.

I agree, it was a huge signing which marked City's intentions. I was left absolutely gutted though.
