Spain is doing alright, but they need to control the ball better towards the end of the pitch. Some of them, mostly Diego Costa I think, have horrible ball control when they receive a pass.

Yikes, Italy is playing horrifically. Barely any complete passes, Spain has done great at containing them but they both have had some cool chances.
I think Italy needs to put a few more first team starters on in midfield because it's mayhem out there for the mid, they seem like they don't know who their teammates are.

They did... Prandelli tries to adapt to a new style 'cuz he lacks a real trequartista but it doesn't work very well.

Yeah...Spain is a pretty bad opponent to try and experiment against But it's okay, let them work out the flaws. The team was far from their starting eleven so I don't really mind. Paletta was a surprisingly good defender who marked the hell out of the new guy for Spain.
