I'm with you there. He's a very capable manager, but I think he was brought in at the wrong time. He tried to change too much, too fast. If we gave him another season to make signings.. we'd have seen a different Chelsea.

I'd be ecstatic to see Mourinho back. The question is, will Roman offer him the job? Mourinho has constantly said he loves Chelsea, and he would like to come back one day, but it's down to Roman. Who knows..

My friends have been telling me "AVB deserves to be sacked." and stuff like that, but I always replied with "He won't be." because I really believed he would be given time to rebuild the team. Things would've changed for the better next season, I was really looking forward to the so called "project".

I wouldn't mind Jose coming back at all, but I feel really sorry for AVB and I hope he wins EVERYTHING possible with the next club he goes to.

I applaud AVB for what he attempted. To take on the senior players and make drastic changes takes balls to do. I also thank him for bringing in Romeu and Mata, two great talents. All the Chelsea "fans" on Facebook fan pages screaming for AVB to be sacked got their wish. What did they think would happen? Back to winning ways?

It was a rash decision, but I can see Roman's reasoning even if I don't agree with it. If we don't get into the top 4, how dreadful would that be? All of that CL revenue would be gone and despite being in "Europe's elite", who would want to play for us? FFP is important, but we need to spend some serious money to sort out the squad.

I'd take losing to Birmingham and Napoli if it meant securing the 4th spot.

the single biggest mistake for Chelsea was sacking Ancelloti. He ddnt have a bad season... he had a couple bad GAMES and a good number because the club had sacked his assistant!!

AVB could have afforded to not win anything but it is impossible to attempt a revolution in ONE season. idealism has no room in sport.... ask Wenger.
