Terry, Cahill and Cole were outstanding defensively today. Cole and Cahill were the defensive highlights tbh. £7m for Cahill.. what a buy. He's only 26 too.

Only caught the first half...
Chelsea didnt defend well at all imo, the were static for the most part. I blame tonight's result on Sanchez and his lack of efficiency.

I'm still confident Barcelona will advance, it's only a matter of scoring early at the camp nou.

The main goal of not conceding at home has been achieved. Now let's hope we score @ Camp Nou. Or keep a clean sheet again.

To be honest, I don't care much if we lose there, the important thing is we beat the best team of our generation. CHELSEA!

You didn't watch the same game as me. Chelsea defended very well, especially considering how hard Barca made us work. Barcelona's lack of efficiency was a key factor, but we did defend excellently for the most part.

I don't know which was better, the Napoli game or the Barca match. Probably the Barca match as we were completely written off. That makes it so much sweeter imo.

if you allow several clear goal chances, even with all your 10 players in their own half, only worried to defend, its not a great defense. It's the same defense every team in the spanish league plays against barcelona.

If an Italian team had played like Chelsea tonight, the English media would be criticising until the cows come home. Instead they're talking about a tactical mastermind. I fucking hate our press.

Shit game.

Had a fiver on Drogba first goal scorer though, so cheers for that. Despite the fact he's a cheating cunt. Somehow he's proved himself to be worse than some of the Barca players. Such a shame that he had to be such a cock.

That's not true.

Any team in the world can be exposed by Barcelona. As you know from watching the Spanish league, the way they play is to hold a vast amount of possession, to be patient and wait for gaps to open. They held 70% of the possession which made us work extremely hard. With that in mind, the longer the game goes on, the more likely Barcelona are to create chances due to tiredness in the defence.

To stop Barcelona from scoring, albeit a bit lucky, is good defending regardless of how many men we had back. You couldn't have expect Chelsea to play a 4-2-3-1 against Barcelona, we would have got slaughtered. That's why we had 10 men in our own half. Counter-attacking football.

Great game if you're a Chelsea fan!

Drogba was an idiot, but he didn't stop any goal scoring chances. No excuses for the diving though.
