Spain was playing pretty terribly in the beginning. Chile weren't letting them attack but Villa got lucky there to get that ball and have the goalie that far. It was a good shot though. By the time Iniesta scored that goal Spain were finally beginning to control a bit more. Chile have been playing very dirty, they deserve those yellow cards and even though that red wasn't really intentional it was coming. Chile got lucky now with that ricochet from one of the Spanish defenders. The game is not yet over!

Chile was doing way too many dirty fouls. They deserved all of those yellow cards for sure and deserved more to be honest but the referee didn't want to give anymore somehow understandably. That red one wasn't one really but earlier on that player was given the chance not to get one, that red was going to happen eventually anyway by the way they were playing.

^ Yeah that was definitely not a red card but as I've said before, the fucking Chile team deserved one and they would have ended up with one anyway if that hadn't happened due to the rate they were going in fouling almost looking for injuries. Dunno what happened to Xabi Alonso, hopefully he's all right. It was due to their defense which was really close up that made them foul so much, but it seemed to be working up until the second goal. Spain was struggling around that time.

the way he stayed on the ground until estrada got sent off was pretty shameful.Didnt like pique coming over either but whats done is done.

Chile are missing Ponce and Medel for the brazil match so its not looking good.Spain and portugal will be tasty.Spain will find it hard to break down the shield of Alves-Pepe-Carvalho and if ronaldo gets support then we could get an upset.can see Them putting ronaldo on the wing as he would rape either capedevila or Ramos cos they are poor. Then liedson or almeyda through the centre

Round of 16 starts today

I dont think the italy situation is as bad as somepeople do.I mean they are set for defense.they have Bonucci,Santon,Motta and maybe Ranocchia to come in.they already hace chiellini and criscito.that is a good defense as I think santon will become one of the best in the world in a few years and i couldnt believe motta wasnt in the squad. The next manager needs to bring Cassano back and Balotelli in.People are saying he is too indisiplined and arrogant.but i believe he is eligible for Ghana so italy should move fast or risk losing a potential great.I see midfield as a problem for them tho.Montolivo was poor at the WC and Pirlo isnt getting any younger.also get Iaquinta out of the squad :facepalm

Uruguay were boring and defensive today, dissapointing. South Korea were unlucky, deserved to win that, if you ask me.
