I disagree completely with your statement about Spain. They've been struggling thus far. And I don't believe Brazil will get demolished by either Argentina or Spain. Brazil have one of the best defences this tournament with the likes of Lucio, Juan, Maicon ( ) and Bastos. Those four can easily contain the likes of Villa and Torres, fuck, Chiellini did it by himself in Euro 2008. With Argentina, they'd have to contain Messi, and I think once they suffocate him out of the game, Argentina will slowly run out of ideas. The thing is, Brazil has great attacks and both Spain and Argentina are iffy in defence. Same goes for Uruguay. Sure, their attackers are good (but Brazil's defenders are better), but the defence will surely succumb to the wing back pressure of Maicon and Bastos, as well as the trickery that is Kaka, Robinho and Fabiano.

But hey, this World Cup has been fucked. Ghana could end up winning..which would actually be fuckin amazing.

Casillas vs César. Casillas has a higher rank in the top 10 goalkeepers 2010. Hell even Valdés is better than César. No one ever mentioned César before when Dida (which even then Casillas was equally as good) used to play international football, so you bet your ass his gonna concede goals.

Overall, you have a Spain side with A class players, more experienced than Brazil, in terms of how much matches the current squad has won playing together. They have an amazing mid-field game-play that surpasses Brazil's. And a better attacking side. Defence-wise Brazil conceded to North Korea & Cote d'Ivoire. Spain conceded to Switzerland & Chile. The Swiss & Chile are currently better sides than North Korea & Cote d'Ivoire. Brazil won 2, and drew 1 - with Portugal. If they couldn't defeat Portugal, how the fuck are they gonna defeat Spain? Spain lost to Switzerland in their opening match, and went on to defeat their next 2 rivals, including a brilliant Chile side. If Spain are struggling - which they're on 6 points, then so is Brazil. Conceding to North Korea and then drawing with Portugal.

Now Argentina have won 3/3 of their group matches, absolutely demolished their group with the great Maradona coaching them, they're absolutely on fire. With Messi on their side, the best footballer in the world atm, and soon to be the next legendary player, playing for them, they are in GREAT hands. Sure besides Messi, they don't have top ten players, but not only does this current squad look undestroyable, but it looks like they can outclass their great rivalry between Brazil. Heinze, Veron, Maxi Rodríguez, Gonzalo Higuaín, Tévez, Agüero, Milito aren't exactly shit players, they are currently playing the best football in the comp thus far. And yet you're saying Brazil can defeat Spain? But Argentina too? Dude you're crazy.
