I watch every single game, been on a tour of the stadium, got tons of shirts and just because I don't have the opportunity to go to the games (since I don't live in London) I'm not as much of a fan as the people who CAN go? I haven't had the opportunity to go to my first game yet.

I'm a fan. So if you're born in Portsmouth you're automatically a Portsmouth fan?

Yeah I disagree. When you've put in the hours travelling to games for over a decade, walking back in the rain when you've lost 2-1 to stockport in division 1 because your goalkeeper is a fuckin idiot, sitting in the stadium for 10 games in a row and not seeing a single goal, when you've sat and watched your biggest rivals beat you in the last minute time and time again, and spent thousands of pounds buying season tickets, when you are sat by the phone waiting for tickets to come available so you can go to bolton away, when you spend 2 days travelling up and back from scotland to watch a friendly....when you have felt the heartbreak of watching your team get relegated in front of your eyes....then it makes you a different kind of fan to the one that watches this unfold on TV from hundreds of miles away.

I'm not saying you can't be a fan or that you are a worse fan, but it makes you a different kind of fan.
