Everyone in the UK going on about how good Hazard is but let's face it, how many actually watch French football regularly?

Gervinho scored more goals than Hazard in the season before last and he's been average (I do think he'll come good though).

Yeah they're a good source tbh. I'd love Hulk to join, but what would happen to Ramires? Hulk would be first choice over Ramires in that position, and if we're playing a 4-2-3-1, where else can Ramires go? He wouldn't be effective as a DM..

Italy should've jumped on their first half chances too, both teams could've scored 5 goals each.

The sport is so unpredictable these days, Germany just got hammered last week too by minnows. You never know.

After about 15 minutes Russia took over and looked the better team, no idea what is going on with Italy as I like the team they have, thought they will give Euro a good shake. Maybe it is the match fixing scandal going on back in Italy and the earth quake that has the players rattled. It was only a friendly can't look too much into it but I am glad Russia played at the level they should be playing at. They can play well against the big teams it is against the minnows that Russia never has motivation. Hopefully they win the group but I can see it being an enormous struggle filled with infighting and missed chances

I thought Italy were decent in the first half, the coach was still experimenting and it sucks that they only had this game to play before the tournament. I'm sure once Chiellini is in the center of the defense, it'll be sturdier but who knows.

Their group is hard as hell too, I have a bad feeling lol They have good individual players but the coach favours pieces of shit like Montolivo and Balzaretti way too much.

Ireland are hopeless, Italy should brush them aside. Spain always struggles with Italy and I think Italy can bounce back after this. Croatia is not where they were a few years ago although can be threatening, would put them around the same level as Russia maybe slightly below the Russians due to cohesion.
