Even before the NFC title game, I was firm with my belied that Denver would win the whole thing.

Go Broncos--mainly because SF didn't win.

Team Rice has Drew Brees though and Rams Robert Quinn and Hekker :flutter:

btw my dad bought a brand new Manning jersey, the Nike Jerseys are better looking than the old Reebok ones imo.

Sorry bro but he's got a little more to go in order to overtake Brady's legacy ;)

Plus Brady still has years to increase his own legacy too...

brady is one of the all-time greats...but for him this year he was just a middle of the pack qb. i understand he had a lot of losses, but peyton always took no names and rookies and made them into great receivers who suddenly were good.

I'm biased, I won't lie. I respect Brady a lot after watching him the year peyton was out, but to me peyton is the greatest of all time. His numbers are phenomenal and he took what would be non-playoff teams to the playoffs every year. He's about to win his 5th mvp and he did have the greatest season (easily) by any qb ever. If he caps this off with a ring that will just be the icing on the cake.

Not denying that Manning is an all-time legend. He's a stat machine, the greatest pure QB in the history of the NFL.

But while Brady was statistically a middle of the pack for most of the year, in my opinion the season actually served as an example of what Brady really is. One starter at skill positions on offense from last season started all 16 games this season for the Patriots, Tom Brady. Amendola, Thompkins, and Dobson (Three players who had never played on the same team with Brady before hand I might add) suffered injuries all throughout the season, leaving Brady with arguably one of the least offensively-talented teams in the league. Add to that the injuries of the two best players on a young, unskilled and inexperienced defense (Jerod Mayo & Vince Wilfork) for almost the entire season putting Brady and the team in bad situations.

And yet the Patriots still win 12 games, pulling off several comebacks and last-minute scores, and still made it to the AFC championship. So, like I said imo this season just proved that Brady is the real deal even more than if he had everything he needed this season and played like he normally does.
